Thank you for choosing this course! We're excited to have you join us for your lifeguard training.
Please note that this course will take place across two locations in Aliso Viejo:
Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center (AVAC) (29 Santa Barbara Dr.) — in-water training
Premier Aquatics Home Office (6 Journey, Suite 200) — dry-land training
This course begins at AVAC.
Locations will typically change around the lunch break. Because training schedules can shift based on class needs and pool availability, we're unable to provide the exact daily location and timing breakdown until Day 1 of the course. Your instructor will hand out the full course schedule, including all location changes, on the first day — this ensures the information you receive is accurate and lets you plan any transportation you may need for the remainder of the course.
Please note: transportation between the two locations is not provided. Students are responsible for arranging their own travel between AVAC and the Home Office.

Lifeguard Online Coursework Completion
**All StarGuard Elite online coursework, including the online lifeguarding examination with a minimum passing score of 80%, must be completed prior to attending the in-person portion of this course.**
**StarGuard Elite (SGE) coursework may be accessed through the StarGuard Elite Portal. All students will receive an invitation email from StarGuard Elite requesting email verification. Portal access will be granted once the email address has been successfully verified.**

Lifeguard Certification Prerequisites:
This course is restricted to Premier Aquatics team members only
- 16 years or older to participate
- Participants will need a personal email address for online training
- 2-day in-person course - all days must be attended
- Classroom & pool setting - dress accordingly
- **StarGuard Elite (SGE) Blended Online Training must be completed before the start of the in-person portion of this training and will be provided to you approximately 5 - 7 days prior to your course date**
A Hip Pack, Whistle, & BigEasy CPR Mask (NO TRIANGLE MASKS) are required to attend the course as well as your lifeguarding position.

IF YOU PURCHASED THROUGH US, YOU WILL RECEIVE THEM DURING THE COURSE.
Swim Prerequisite:
- Swim 50 yards without stopping
- Swim 50 yards with a rescue tube across the chest
- Tread water for 1 minute without the use of hands
- Retrieve 10-pound object from the bottom of the pool
Course end times are an approximation and are based on the students' completion of scheduled events.
Certification will be awarded on the last day of class and are contingent upon the candidate's successful completion of the written and practical exam. Valid for 1 year.
